Dr. David Hesse has been providing foot and ankle care in the Chippewa Valley since 1996. He received his undergraduate degree in zoology from Iowa State University in 1989, and his doctorate in podiatric medicine and surgery from Des Moines University in 1993. He completed his surgical residency in 1996 at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills Michigan through Michigan State University. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, a Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Hesse began his career with Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Eau Claire, WI where he provided care for 11 years, and later opened Hesse Foot & Ankle Clinic from 2007-2025.
Dr. Hesse's mission is to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to the Chippewa Valley community, and to strive to promote health and wellness, prevent illness and injury, and treat each patient with dignity and respect. He provides comprehensive medical and surgical care for all foot and ankle conditions. Dr. Hesse enjoys outdoor activities including golf, fishing and pickleball, and emphasizes the priority of spending time with family and friends.
